First I want to say you do not have to live the BDSM lifestyle to enjoy a BDSM book. I certainly am not able to live such a life style. If a man touched me in that way I'd beat him with a baseball bat and shoot him. I'd certainly never give a man any consent to do so. However, I do love reading books with it. So if you go out and buy this book do so with an open mind and the knowledge that ALL THE CHARACTERS GIVE THEIR CONSENT! To me it's a book they don't really need to. But I know a lot who can't handle that.
Second, to me 50 Shades was at most a 3 Star book. Don't be haters, but it barely touched my erotic book desires and was truly extremely BDSM lite whiny lame. I did like the plot just not the heroine or how lite they made the BDSM portions of the book. While it is a good book and normally I wouldn't talk about one book while I'm reviewing another but I've got to bring this up because I have readers/friends/family that are a little surprised when I say "I've read better". And it seems because it is so well known that it is what all of the readers I know use to compare other books in order to get a better idea of an author or book. And they always want to know what I consider better because I love all romance from sweet to dark, kinky, and edgy. So if you liked 50 shades that's great! See if you can handle Shoshanna! If you thought 50 was too lite and want stronger characters then definitely pick up one of Shoshanna's BDSM books!
Now onto my review of Enslaved!
The Billionaire Arrogant Doms aka
the BAD Boys are amazing! I actually loved the entire cast as a whole and how they all fit together to drive the story.
While there is a bit of a side story it actually helps move the whole story along with a better understanding of the love and respect they all have for each other. Granted that side story is a M/M erotic romance and I don't care much for M/M personally. It added to the story and I had no issue reading it at all. I knew before buying the book it was there since I follow Shoshanna on FB and if your reading this now you'll know to. I just feel like that little tid-bit should have made it into the blurb.
Elisabeth isn't the weak willed women that you first get a glimpse of. Not in the least when she can top from the bottom. I found her being a self-proclaimed pain-slut empowering and refreshing. Despite what she thought in the beginning chapter she knows who she is and what she needs. The Elisabeth you see first isn't the whole Elisabeth and most of us when starting out on a new journey in life are nervous and in need of reassurance. So don't judge her by that first glimpse you get.
Trevor didn't know for sure how to best fix their situation. What true Dom wants a sub that Tops from the Bottom? None! He knew if the situation wasn't remedied soon neither of them would be happy. He wanted a women who could except all of him and love. Someone that could be happy as his wife and sub.
His friend Roman is a hard sexy Dom and certainly knew how to help his best friend Trevor and his sub Elisabeth. She needed to be trained and learn to be obedient the way she desired to be and still get her needs filled. Trevor also needed to be trained to be able to give her what she needs to be in a healthy relationship.
I can't wait to read about Marc and Mistress Lauren in Enamored.

Blurb for Enslaved, Book One in
the Enslaved Trilogy
from Simon & Schuster’s
Pocket Star:
From a red-hot erotica writer
comes an original eBook—a sensual romp across the playgrounds of the unbelievably
rich and extremely sexy.
Elisabeth Anderson has seen
Trevor and his friends at the infamous Manhattan BDSM club WhipperSnapper,
where everyone calls them the BAD Boys, for “Billionaire Arrogant Doms.” The
BAD Boys—Trevor Brooks, Marc Wilde, and Roman Chase—are aptly named; they’ve
made money hand over fist due to their aggressive investing at the Brooks Wilde
Chase Fund. These guys are so rich they can get away with anything, or so the
rumors go.
Trevor gives Elisabeth full reign
of his estate in Westchester, letting her do as she pleases. He has only two
rules. Rule One: she must obey and submit to him while she is living in his
house. Rule Two: always answer the blue cell phone. She’s happy to oblige,
because being with Trevor makes her want to obey, to love him the way he seems
to be falling for her. But Elisabeth’s never been good at being the quiet sub;
she’s feisty and gets off on the punishments more than she does by pleasing
Trevor.
Elizabeth can’t submit to Trevor
the way he needs her to, so his friend and business partner (and fellow BAD
Boy) Roman takes her in hand. But love triangles can have sharp edges...and
somebody’s bound to get hurt.

I am more then pleased to have Shoshanna stop by today! We've got a short but wonderful interview for you today! She writes Contemporary Romance, BDSM Erotica, and every soon she releases a Paranormal Dystopian trilogy. I've read a couple of her books and love them. It was before I started the blog so I hope to add the ones I've read here when I can. Lets get started.
What's your favorite part of
being an author?
My favorite part of being an
author is being able to do what I love for a living, and being able to share my
stories with an audience—my awesome readers! Second favorite part is being home
with my son, and being able to work in my pajamas, like I’m doing…right now.
LOL
Haha, I know how nice that is! Granted I'm not an author I'm a teacher.
I love your definition of what
erotic romance is. It really hits home on what I feel all erotic romance should be. Can you share it again for our the readers here?
Different authors have different
definitions of erotic romance. I’ve heard some people say that erotic romance
is just romance with the bedroom doors wide open, and that you could remove the
sex scenes and still have a workable romance. But for me…I respectfully
disagree.
I think that in erotic romance,
the sex scenes are integral to the hero and heroine’s growing relationship.
Each sex scene brings them closer together, teaches them something new about
themselves or about the other character, or even drives them apart.
If you remove the sex, you no
longer have a working story, because the sex is part of the story. By the end
(with an HEA or HFN if it’s romance, of course) the characters have grown
together in a large part because of their sexual journey.
Can you tell us a little about
your Enslaved Trilogy?
Twist my arm, why don’t you! LOL
I’m super excited about the Enslaved Trilogy, which follows three best friends
and business partners at the Brooks Wilde Chase hedge fund as they find their
submissives and true love.
The patrons at WhipperSnapper,
the BDSM club they frequent, call them the BAD Boys behind their backs -
“Billionaire Arrogant Doms” - but as you read each book, you’ll see that each
hero thinks that the “arrogant” part only refers to himself, not his friends.
;) Of course, they are all three billionaires and Doms. Why not? It’s fiction!
I can make my heroes as rich and hot and *bad* as I want them to be ;)
In Enslaved, Elisabeth has just
been released from her collar by her ex-Dom, and is staying with Trevor Brooks.
Problem is, he wanted a submissive, and she’s more of a fiery “brat” who loves
to be punished. That’s where his friend and fellow BAD Boy Roman Chase comes
into play. Roman can give her the punishment and training she craves, but
Trevor gives her…everything. Two hot billionaires to choose from, poor
Elisabeth! ;)
Enamored is the second book in
the trilogy, and focuses on the dangerous bet that their partner Marc Wilde
made with his female BFF and fellow Domme, Lauren. The trilogy finishes with Enraptured,
Roman’s story. I hope my readers love the BAD Boys as much as I do!
Also.... I have a contest going
on! Just go to http://shoshannaevers.com/contests/ for a chance to win an
autographed paperback edition of The Man Who Holds the Whip, a sexy BDSM erotic
romance like Enslaved! :)
Shh don't tell them that! That decreases my chances! Oh I shouldn't say that should I? Haha, too late. But I'm sure they'd like to know they can all enter it too. Here is the link to The Man Who Holds the Whip on Amazon and BN.
Thanks so much for stopping by Shoshanna!
Thanks for having me!
