Okay so both of these are really high on the Spicy end. I LOVE reading Zara's books. They flow so smoothly!  They are sexy, passionate, and even have a bit of humor tossed in! I can't decide which book I enjoy more. You could read them out of order and still understand what's going on but I recommend reading them in order so you have a better understanding of who all the players are. And Oh My where's Will? I'll Take him of Sophie's hands! That farm man needs some more love!!

This one is mainly all about Sophie. She's gone back a place that holds not only passion but sorrow as well. A place where long ago she lost her parents and the man she loved. She needed to make the trip to accept her past in hopes she'd be able to change and find her future. Only she ran into a  hot farm man. Face it you can't call Will a boy he's just to damn all man! After a totally yummy  hot scene that will have you squirming in your seat she accidentally runs into her old love. Oops!!! Will she learn to accept the truth or just what she perceives the truth to be?

Will is a gorgeous farmer and a man that takes his time. He's sturdy, reliable, and charming. At first it was all about having a good time with Sophie. But he realized he wanted more from her. He wanted her to stay and love him. Possibly become his wife and live with him in Cornwall.

Oliver was supposed to follow her back home after she left Cornwall when her parents killed themselves. But he didn't and Sophie never gave him the chance to explain why.  He didn't expect to run ever see her again.

Once again I fell for Zara's characters. I love the story. We even get a visit from Holly, Dane, and Charlie in the book. It's great to see them and find out what's going on with them all again. Even if they are more in the background in this one.

Do you trust the boy you loved, or the man you might?
Sophie has only one thing on her New Year’s resolution list – sorting out her life.
Losing her parents was hard, blaming herself hurt more – but was it really her fault, or was accepting the guilt easier than facing up to the truth?
Retracing her steps was never going to be easy, risking her heart again is even harder - and when there's two men to choose from will it be easier to trust the man she's never stopped loving, or the one that might give her the new start she needs?

Naughty Bit

“No, because I’m not. Are you?” He didn’t wait for my answer. Just gently propelled me backwards until my back met the soft covering of the lichen-covered rocks and my hips tilted forward until I could feel the heat of his cock pressed hard against me.
“I’ve missed you so much, Sophie.” His hand slipped under my T-shirt burning a molten path up my body that left me whimpering. “Have you come back to torture me, show me what I’ve missed out on?”
I shook my head dumbly, because right now my brain hadn’t got the capacity to think, to answer questions, to do anything but pander to my body’s reactions.
“You shouldn’t have come back.” His voice was hoarse, his hand closed around my heavy breast, his thumb brushing over a nipple I knew was hard, but he was looking at me. Straight to the heart as they say.
“I had to.”
“Shit, Sophie.” And when he kissed me it wasn’t the exploration of yesterday it was hard, physical in a way that made me gasp, controlling and yet demanding, as though he had to catch up on all the years in between.
And it made me cry.
I clung to him, clung as though I was afraid he’d go, even though his hard body was pressed against mine, his mouth claiming mine. I could taste my salty tears as our teeth clashed, as his fingers meshed into my hair, as the hunger we’d both kept under control erupted. And I was shaking, trembling with need and anticipation as I tasted the lust in his mouth, felt the want in his body.
He grunted as the button of my jeans gave way for him and his hand forced its way into my panties, his fingers slipping into my wet channel. I lifted my leg, wrapped it round him, my hand on his face as we drank from each other. And all I could do was rock against him, clutch at him, lick him and kiss him as the tears gradually slowed to a stop and a hunger that scared me took its place.

COMING SOON
Message from Zara,
I’m currently working on two great stories that will be out later in the year. If you’ve enjoyed Good Enough to Share, and Good Enough to Trust – well look out for Book 3 in the series. We’re heading back to Cheshire to catch up with Holly, Dane and Charlie.
Has Dane been able to face up to his problems and look to a future with Holly, have Charlie and Anna decided they’re better off together or apart, and is Sophie still determined to try and sort everyone else’s problems out?
I’m also working on a story all about James. If you have read ‘Riding High’ then you will have met James. So many people asked me to write his story – well it will soon be hitting the shelves. It’s called ‘Surrender Your Soul’ – and I would do if I met James!

Holly left her husband James and moved in with an old friend Charlie in Cheshire, England. Sophie, Charlie, and Holly have been friends since their university years and are a happy bunch together but each of them had something in their past that they had to face and grow.  While most of the story is focused around Holly,  Zara manages to give us a group of great characters. Each and everyone one of them develop as they become a closer family built on lasting friendships. We get to tag along in their lives around Christmas in a way that made them feel like old friends which drew me in even more.

Holly is trying to start over and move on from her divorce. Sophie is a fun loving friend who looks out for everyone and tries to set up Holly with her crush Dane. Charlie is her hot guy friend that is always there for her. It's clear that after Sophie's set up with Dane they allowed themselves to act on desires that helps them all figure out what they want and who they want to become. It makes for a great sexy story filled with lust, love, and exploration.

While the F/M/F scene barely had anything going on sexually between Holly and Sophie she definitely still gives us a hot sexy scene that focused more on Holly and Dane. There really isn't any F/F or M/M action in the menage scenes so its perfect for those looking for sexy menage scenes with a great story without the F/F or M/M focus. I think my favorite was with Dane, Holly, and Charlie but I don't want to spoil it by talking about here. You'll have to grab it up and check it out for yourself!

I have to go now and start book 2  Good Enough to Trust because I just can't wait to find out more about Sophie and see what else Zara has in store for us!

BLURB

One Christmas, four friends - will they still be together by New Year?
Divorce wasn’t part of the plan for Holly, but then again nor was spending the festive period with two sexy men and Santa’s little helper! With a disastrous marriage behind her, and three good friends who are willing to share, moving on could be fun – if only she can accept that sometimes her heart is wiser than her head.
Dane doesn’t do commitment, which suits Holly just fine. But when things heat up between the four friends, he’s forced to face up to his past. Will realising he’s good enough mean he no longer wants to share…?
Laid back Charlie knows that if his best friend becomes his lover he could end up losing big time. But can he resist? And when the girl he once loved comes back, who will he decide to spend the New Year with?
…And Sophie just wants to have fun. She’s got the answers to everyone's problems, except her own …. is she the one who needs good friends most of all?
Will a caring, sharing, lust and love filled Christmas lead to the happy ever after they all desire?

WARNING - Christmas may never seem the same again!

EXCERPT

I’d never really looked at Charlie before, you know, properly looked - because he was more like a geeky big brother. The annoying idiot who always stole the game controller from you, the guy who laughed at your high heels and told you the tart look was hot this season. The guy who was always there to cuddle up to and offer wise words when you’d had a shit day. But for some reason I was looking now, well staring, at his trim bum that his expensive chinos were hugging like a second skin. And I felt tempted, very tempted.
“Can he surf?”
“What?” Sophie gave me her ‘you’ve grown two heads’ look. Shit I’d done that speaking out loud thing when it was supposed to be in my head.
“I was just wondering. He just looks like he should be on a surf board in the sun somewhere.”
“Oh yeah, sure. The sun kissed beaches of Anglesey.” Sophie did sarcasm well, very well.
“They don’t get breakers there do they? I was thinking more sun-drenched Australia.”
“Is there something in your wine that I’ve missed out on?” She was right, it was a bit random, but I have this thing with people where I tend to imagine what they really should be doing, and I’d just had this startling image of Charlie with his hair slightly longer, and his body slightly more toned. He’d make a good surfer dude. “Anyway, forget Charlie, I’ve just spotted something much better.”
The evil glint in her eye, and the instant switch-on of her sultry smile should have warned me, but being one drink up and a bit slow on the uptake I swung round to follow the line of her sight. And really wished I had kept my head turned and my nose buried in my wine glass.
“You two out on the pull then?” You know how some deep male voices have that perfect resonance to vibrate right down to the bottom of your stomach and beyond? Yeah, that. I was blushing from the inside out and I had completely and utterly forgotten about Charlie, with or without a surfboard.
Christ, why was it that every time Dane Stephens popped up I was dressed in something that either said ‘shag me, I’m a complete tart’ or ‘I’m a complete saddo’? Or in this case a mixture of both. The fact that Sophie and I were propping up the bar, both with a goblet of wine in hand each didn’t help with the image much either.
“We’ve been working.” I tried to keep my face straight and stop my nipples making a break for freedom as the gorgeous guy who seemed to feature in every one of my current run of dirty dreams rested his hand on my shoulder and sent a warm thrill straight between my thighs. Along with a very strong urge to grab hold of him and give him the type of kiss that would leave a lasting impression. Gee, life would be so much easier if that kind of full frontal attack was one of my special skills. It wasn’t. Best mates with a bit of flirting thrown in as a side order was a better description of my capabilities.

I’d been having dirty dreams about Dane for as long as I can remember. Well, probably since the first time all six foot something of him had swaggered into this bar and given me the type of smile that gave me an almost, emphasis on almost here, uncontrollable urge to strip every last inch of his clothing off in slow motion. But I hadn’t, because nice girls don’t, do they?
“Been out hammering shoes on?” I tweaked a bit of straw out of his thick dark hair and resisted the urge to tangle my fingers in deeper, just in case I’d missed a bit. And then rub a hand over that broad, strong chest just for good measure. He was buff underneath that shirt, I just knew it. Well, I did actually. I’d seen him strip to the waist the odd time at the tail end of the summer when we’d actually seen a bit of that golden orb in the sky they call the sun, and he’d built up a sweat manhandling horses. And along with every other girl on the yard I’d gone weak-kneed and tried not to stare as I’d watched his muscles ripple and a trickle of sweat bead its way down his back. A bead of sweat that needed licking off.

Erotic Military Romance

Serviced: Volume 1

All's fair in love and war, they say. Come find out if it's true in these ten stories where soldiers prove that their skills in the field are only rivaled by their skills in the bedroom.

Since this is a large anthology I hope to break it into an overall review  as well as an individual  short review of each story.  After all with short reads just talking about them can possibly spoil the whole story.  HAHAHA!  I promise to not give any spoilers.

Being an anthology there are some stories that kept me hooked while others not as much. But I truly enjoyed all of them! All of them were good to amazing reads! That's what I love about anthologies. You get an assortment to sample much like a box of chocolates.  In this one you get a great selection! The lowest I rated a story was 3 stars with the majority at 4 and 5's! Since I love picking up anthologies that's pretty amazing compared to some of the others I've bought that have let me down. This one was a pleasant surprise. I even have at least one other book to read and review that written by one of the authors in this. I have 1 more in front of it I believe and I'm excited to get to it! SO not only did I enjoy this anthology I'm reading their other works too!

If you like military romance filled with all the hot whirlwind love it's definitely worth the time and the price!
I definitely recommend you pick up this one!

Averaging them all together to find my rating I give this one

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY by ALLIE A BURROW

I really enjoyed the story of Kate and Mark. Not only do you have the building emotions between these two but it's funny, sweet, exciting, and HOT! I love so many moments in this one but I think my favorite is the train ride home. That was 100% awesome!!!  It's filled with plenty of hot scenes packed into a great short story with a lot of romance that will make you swoon.
Kate Powell only went and fell for the soldier she’d met just once before he had to jet off on a year-long posting overseas.

Seven months in, and Kate is hornier than a blue wildebeest in mating season with only her battery-powered friend for relief. Her skills as a pen-pal scale new heights, but then a text message arrives out of the blue.

Corporal Mark Butler is back in the country for one night only, and Kate isn’t about to let the opportunity pass her by. After all, who needs a vibrator when the real thing comes calling?

OVER A DEAD BODY by LEONA J BUSHMAN

This story does have a quick little mystery, romance and a Hot love scene.

Riker thought he'd be meeting a friend and instead found him dead. When NCIS is called in, Riker's ex is there, looking as hot as ever. Even though the sight of her forced him to realize how much he missed her and wanted her, meeting her over a dead body with blood on his hands made it unlikely he'd get what he wanted—Edie.

Edie loved her job as a lead NCIS investigator, but why did it have to be Riker who found this murdered person? Riker had left her a few weeks before marriage, spouting logic and distance. Her heart remained cold, but her body steamed when he touched her.

Could she clear his name and forgive him or would the killers get to him first?

REDS, WHITES, and BLUES by MICKEY J. CORRIGAN

This one made me sigh an audible,"Awe Babes" Causing my husband to turn around and ask me what. So of course I had to read it to him and we both liked this sweet spicy read. It's a man looking back on the first time he met the young women who became his wife.  It's a very short spicy yet sweet read.

He was stationed in Key West during the Vietnam War when he met the arty girl who didn't capitalize her name. She was cute, but strange, the kind of a hippie chick who usually shunned soldiers like himself. But sometimes opposites attract. Sometimes they have sex on the beach. And sometimes you can't forget them.

LEAVE TAKING by ANGELICA DAWSON

This one is a  cute and sweet short read!

Will has a surprise for his wife for the tenth anniversary.

He's coming home.

FIRST DATE – THE ITALIAN COLONEL by JESABELLE JONES

As short as this is it sure is HOT and Naughty! If there is a second date I want to read it!

There are fireworks when horny English nanny, Leonie, meets squadron commander, Colonel Luca Giordano - the sex is hot, and it's only the first date.
MAJOR'S MINAH by RAVEN McALLAN

Oh I bet these two would be fun to read more about! It's a bit naughty, romantic, and spicy. Her writing was elegant too! It's been a while since I've read naughty mingled with elegance.

Oliver knew his duty, he needed a wife and heir. Minah knew what she wanted—him. Could his ideals and her dreams be the same? There was only one way to find out...

KNOCK OUT by NATALIA PETROVSKII

Well if you can't get sweaty with the one you want I guess sparring with them is the next best thing! Oh this one had a few sinfully yummy parts in it too. It's a work romance and they are certainly naughty at the office! And everywhere else too!

Warrant Officer Ryan Wilson is handsome and arrogant and Corporal Nicole Muchmore enjoys taking out her frustration against him on the sparring mat. One day the tables turn and before she knows what is happening he is exacting a punishment of another kind-this time totally pleasurable.

A CHANCE AT LOVE by SHELLI ROSEWARNE

This is sad and sweet romantic story.  But at least the death of her brother brought her the man she fell in love with!
Corporal Aidan Hamilton has the unenviable job of telling his best friend’s sister that her brother isn’t coming back. This is slightly complicated by the fact that from the moment he meets Suzanne Kelsey he knows she’s everything he’s ever wanted. While Suzanne might need someone to lean on at the moment, can he convince her that what they have is more than a short term fling?

Suzanne had always told her big brother that being a soldier was too dangerous, so when she sees the uniformed officer in front of her house she knows exactly what he’s here to tell her. While Aidan may set her blood on fire, Suzanne has already lost one soldier she loved and she’s not prepared to trust her heart to another one.

TAKING COMMAND by ZARA STONELEY

A woman who takes what she wants keeps a soldier from letting her go!

Mike Sands knows that loving a soldier can lead to heartache, so when he falls hard for his best mates little sister he knows he has to walk away.

But can Jade let him, when one taste has left her desperate for more? Or dare she take command of the situation and prove to both of them that maybe what they have is worth taking a risk over?

Sometimes one night of passion is not enough, sometimes you just have to stop thinking about the future and live in the present.

RIDING OUT THE STORM by NATALIA PETROVSKII

Who doesn't like having a little snow as a reason two people get thawed out and warmed up?

Corporal Anna Jordan keeps her secret fantasies about her superior officer, Lieutenant Kyle Campbell, well hidden. When the two must take shelter from a winter storm during a training exercise she has no idea her wildest dreams are about to come true!
