The Progeny Series
At its core, The Progeny Series is simply about a man
and woman who fall in love, and the fact that he’s a half-blood (half-human,
half vampire) and she’s a Wiccan human are secondary factors. When we meet
Ascher, he’s grumpy. Frankly, who could blame him? He’s engaged to seal to
Ursula—a cold and careless vampire who wants nothing more than to get her hands
on a bloodstone— and he feels conflicted about his existence.
All of that changes
when he meets Shawnette McCutchin. She’s beautiful, intriguing and possesses

I strongly recommend you read the first two books before reading the third book in the series. You won't get the full story or get to see and feel the growing love between the characters or their individual growth otherwise.
As the story continues Ashlynne picks up the story where Blood Bond leaves off. It's still packed full of the action, suspense, mystery, and even more sex and romance then the previous books.
There are many amazing surprises and characters in this book are really amazing! It's really hard to not blab about everything. I have to really try and contain myself to not give you all spoilers. I hate reading those when getting started on a new series.
While Ascher and Shauna are the main characters for the most part still we have the rest Rousseau family which is still growing in an awesome way. I really enjoy this family and while they are rich they also show others they meet who are good with compassion and love. We are also have an army of Darklings thanks to Ursula who is still out for vengeance and our lovely couples find themselves separated to keep each other safe.
If you love vampire romances then you really need to give this series a try. Just make sure you can handle reading all the hot sexy love making in this series. Because it's definitely erotic and for adults only!
