OMG!
Wow!
I was really skeptic about reading a book by two different authors. I'm not a stranger to D.T. Dyllin's writing. I even have a few of Kenya Wright's books, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. Shame on me because these two really brought it to the page and lit it on fire!
It sets up the story nicely, but the trouble with Sci-Fi or Fantasy is you have to set up the all the information you want your readers to have. Some will argue that all books have to do that, but when you do something that has a different world structure you have all new societies, technology, languages, and just so much more you have to make the reader understand so they "get" the story you're trying to tell. In a lot of cases a single author drones on in a very boring way about all these things. It isn't to bore us but they are excited about all they created and want us to know about it. In a lot of the erotic books I read with these elements only a few authors are one's I'd recommend because of this. Well K.D Penn gives us all the guts of the story in interesting pieces. Some of them were really amazing and incredibly hot. They deserve an extra 5 flaming star flowers for that alone!
Hot Redemption gives us a story about two very troubled people who are just trying to survive the best way they can. You get a strong heroine foiling a strong hero. Or is it the other way around? We can certainly argue that from both sides. I love strong characters! It always makes someone go against what they'd normally do for another person. In this book I can say both have to do that in order for the story to work. While these two unravel the mysteries of each they can't help fight the attraction they have for one another or the jealously that comes from it.
I can fly my Freak Flag proudly when I say, "If you enjoy futuristic, sci-fi, cyber-punk, fantasy, with really hot sex involved you're going to freaking LOVE this book!" I even texted my husband at work and told him I needed him. Okay, what I said was much raunchier then that and his boss saw it. Oops! Yes, the book is that HOT! I have my favorite scenes. Actually, to be honest about it, all the sex scenes were so sizzling I think I love them ALL! Now this book isn't just about the sex. The characters are hot and they have an exciting story to take us along on. All you have to do is buy the book and jump on. Did I mention it's even funny!
To sum up Hot Redemption, it's hot, well written, exciting, gut busting funny, freakishly fun, dark, and worth reading more then once!
Warning: This book will have you squirming in your seat!

About the Authors
K.D. Penn is a pseudonym for the writing team of Kenya Wright and D.T. Dyllin. Or to make it simpler for you…
Kenya
Wright always knew she would be famous since the ripe old age of six
when she sang the Michael Jackson thriller song in her bathroom mirror.
She has tried her hand at many things from enlisting in the Navy for six
years as a Persian-Farsi linguist to being a nude model at an art
university.
However, writing has been the only constant love in her life. Will she succeed? Of course.
For
she has been coined The Urban Fantasy Queen, the Super Iconic Writer of
this Age, The Lyrical Genius of Our Generation. Granted, these are all
terms coined by her, within the private walls of her bathroom as she
still sings the Michael Jackson thriller song.
Kenya Wright currently resides in Miami with her three amazing, overactive children, a
supportive, gorgeous husband, and three cool black cats that refuse to stop sleeping on Kenya’s head at night.
Cynical-Optimist.
Chocolate-holic. Sarcasm Addict. Paranormal Believer. Self-Imposed
Insomniac. Sci-Fi Geek. Animal Lover. Writer…are just a few words to
describe D.T. Dyllin. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, and now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and
two very spoiled GSDs.
